Default Hills puppy food

Hi we pick our new pup up on saturday at the moment she is being fed on Hills Science plan puppy food, I've never used this before but she is doing great on it so will keep on it. I've noticed PAH have it on offer at the moment at 9.99 for 3kg while the 7.5kg bags are 33
Has anyone used it before I actually thought it was only available from the vet so was surprised when i found out thats what she was on

Its only the sort of specialist versions that you have to get at the vet - the prescription versions. Although having said that, I buy Pascos Hills ZD at vetuk. I'd a BUTT load cheaper there and the oldies club get some credit of you use the link from there website. I bought Hills JD for a friend and at Vet Uk it was 50 and odds. My vet charged 62!!!!!

I think Hills would like to market itself as some kind of uber special food and has used the veterinary sales route to get there, but its not any better than any other commercially made food. Giving it a technical/medically kind of name is a very clever marketing ploy!

Oh... i should add.... I use the Hills ZD Ultra low alergan. I use it under duress at the Vets instruction!

hey, maddy was on hill's puppy food when i got her. as a food its good and fine, u prob do pay for the brand but it is easy to get hold of at pets at home.
I changed maddy to jwb because she was abit loose on hills and also it was making her poo 8-10 times a day as it is quite bulky. i was having a job toilet training her. since on jwb shes only doing 4 poos a day, she hasnt pood in the house since and shes not loose.
if hills suits ur dog and ur dogs happy on it, its a good food and dont see why ud need to change.
hope that helps
