My beautiful boy passed away

It's been 5 days since I lost my beautiful and healthy 5 years old black boy Braddock. He was in a pet hotel last weekend, and on Monday at 1 am, he was in his normal self, but at 8 am he was gone. Still in his blanket. He just didn't woke up. We had taken him to the vet the previous week, everything was normal. He had an hyperplasia in his gum, so the vet did a GA and took a teeth x-ray. He recovered very fast from the GA. Everything back to normal. He didn't have blood tested or anything, so maybe there was something we didn't see... He didn't show any pain, never... looked very healthy. Me and my companion feel devastated. We are waiting for necropsy results, just to clarify what has possibly happened to our pup. I have never posted in this forum, and I was trying to find similar situations to understand if this happens a lot to labs... right now I can only cry.. a lot...

I'm so sorry to read this. I wonder about the GA. Occasionally a dog has an undetected heart problem which is adversely affected by the GA. Happened to the Labrador belonging to the cousin of my brother in law. The dog only had the GA foe ex-rays after developing a limp. Anaesthetics are not something to ever be taken lightly.
