Default Bosley

I haven't been on here in a good while but I just wanted to post that our lovely, funny, brave boy Bosley lost his fight with cancer last week, a whole 18 months after he was given 6 weeks. He was put to sleep very peacefully, by a vet he trusted, and myself and my husband with him.
We miss him terribly, he was a dog in a million and he'll never be forgotten.

On Saturday I found out about a little black dog pup, the last one of his litter, and on sunday we brought him home. Little Dudley can't lessen how much we miss Bosley, but he's going to be keeping us busy.

Run free at the bridge our brave boy, till we meet again x

So sorry for your loss

I am glad you had that extra special time with him, what a fighter he was!

Take care and enjoy little Dudley.

Gutting. So, so, so sorry for your loss and he looked a real stunner from your signature photo.

Like you say, he'll never be forgotten but there's another lovely pup to follow in the paw steps.

Run free

Fly free over Rainbow Bridge Bosley xxx

You have left your paw prints on the hearts of your humans on this earth and also trained them all about Labradors. You can now proudly observe them giving Dudley a special life, just like you had.

What a wonderful looking dog. I am so sorry for your loss ... I lost a Lab to cancer last year and my (now nearly 9 month old) baby was the only way to start to heal the hole in my heart xx

Thank you for your lovely replies.
Yes, getting Dudley was almost a 'knee jerk reaction' to the empty bed and bowl (heartbreaking aren't they?) But it was utterly the best thing we could have done, he is amazing and totally perfect (so far!), he turned 9 weeks today.
He's our 1st pup, Bosley was a rescue, we'd had him since he was 15 months.
