Default 8 Year Old Bringing Up Bile

My 8 year old lab brings up yellow bile every now and then. Today I came home and he had been sick twice and then again once I was home. The last time he was sick was around 2 weeks ago. He has a grain free diet but sometimes has the odd treat. Other than the vomiting he isn’t showing any other signs of being unwell - pee/poops are normal, happy and always up for playing. Should I be as worried as I am and take him to the vet or is it just that he’s maybe had a few treats or gone too long between his meals?

Sometimes they bring up bile on an empty stomach, which is nothing to worry about, but if you are at all worried then give your vet a call and have a chat with them.

Obviously when a dog gets to that kind of age we start to worry that maybe bits inside are not working as efficiently as they were. There is also a sickness thing going around at the mo. But that is usually sickness several times per day! But like us, just occasionally they feel just a little off colour. As Tarimoor said, probably nothing, but if you are worried have a chat to your vet.

Thank you both for the advise. Vet gave him and anti sickness jag and so far no more vomiting! Vet thought it may have been that he ate something he shouldn’t have and could have had it stuck in his tummy. Had him back for a quick once over again today and looks to have been a bug or maybe just a few too many treats at grans house which isn’t ideal when he’s on a grain free diet!
