Default Baileys skin

Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering if i could ask for some advice please?
my 11 year old golden labrador has developed some kind of skin irritation.
I've been to the vets and he's on steroids for some time to see if this helps.
Speaking with my vet he's advised that it could possibly be his food, does anyone know what is the best food to change to?
Theres that many online I'm a little confused as i want whats best for Bailey with his age and skin etc ....

Im new to this so i hope I've sent this thread right :-)

Maybe the vet is thinking its allergy to grains so a food without fillers such as wheat, maize, rice etc would eliminate some of the common causes for skin problems.

My dogs are on Millies Wolfheart [grain free], Salmon and Veg, and the Trout, White Fish & Tripe with Veg, it does seem to suit them and you can ring for advice about which may suit your boy if he has sensitive skin.

There are quite a few on here feeding it to their dogs and are happy with results.

Link below- worth a look, however, you will get loads of different recommendations and it can end up quite confusing in the end, so I wish you good luck finding something to suit, it has to be better than a life on steroids if you can find something that works eh.

Hello I see you have the same problem like me before! Then i change my dog food to eukanuba and that was great there's no more skin allergies to my babies and so far I don't have any issue using this kind of food and all my dogs become healthier and they love it! Thank's to my vet, for me this is the best and healthy dog food for my babies.
