Default New food needed - fur loss

Hello all,

Some may recall a while ago I posted about our black lab Holly licking/biting out the fur off of her legs/paws.

We originally had her on James Wellbeloved at the time and then we got another lab which came with Skinners from the breeder so we changed Holly over to this as well. Things did start to look up and her legs got so much better but they appear to have declined again.

She is on piriton tablets daily as prescribed by the veterinarian and we both feel that the major reason behind it is a slight allergy to grass/pollen.

She is currently on salmon and rice by Skinners which we haven't changed since however due to the recent decline we are looking in to changing it. We have been looking at grain free food but do not necessarily know that this would be the best thing to go for.

Has anyone here tried 'Country Kibble'?
Could anyone suggest a good brand that their dogs are thriving on that would have previously had similar effects to that on Holly?

Thanks in advance,
Lee

Poor Holly :-( my 2 havent had symptoms like that, but I have them both on this food and they are definitely thriving on it - I have people stopping me in the street to compliment how shiny their coats are etc, and I know you can purchase small sample bags - might be worth a try!

Martha our pup.was being fed Pro plan HA food, recommended by specialist Vets, because she has Irritable Bowel Disease. In the food was Soya, which made Martha itch for England. So i am wondering,if the food you are feeding has something like that in the food.
