I’ve struggled getting Pops and Freddie to eat. I feed exactly the same food as the breeder but Pops flatly refused it. I added a spoonful of wet food and mixed it in, with a raw egg yolk (not white as it inhibits the absorption of vitamin B in puppies...cooked is fine though) and a sprinkle of grated cheese and she woofs it down. For me it’s important with Pops that she maintains condition. She went several days when she first arrived when she’d barely eat a thing. Freddie has gone through a phase where he won’t eat his either! He gets a whole raw egg and the shell and I feed him in his crate and Pops next to him but outside the crate. Then they get the impression there’s competition and scoff the lot.
