I give Mason them now and then. If its a rib he'll pretty much finish it in a hour or two. If its a shin or knuckle I just leave him with it. He'll chew on it for quite a while and then leave it until the next day where he'll start again.

If I have a few I keep them in the freezer. No need to thaw before giving them.

If you feed them in the garden then in the evening place them in a bag and hang from your washing line. This will keep the slugs and snails off them.
