Default Fireworks

My Poppy has always had a problem with loud bangs and even motorbikes can freak her out. Firework season is a particular problem for her. My vet's recently recommended a natural plant extract (It's made by Canibio but I got it from www.chemeyes.co.uk, I expect it's available on Amazon etc but I haven't looked). I've been using it for just over a week and already there's a noticeable difference, instead of jumping on the sofa in a panic when she hears something she just looks at the window which is really great progress for her. I'm hoping firework night will be stress-free this year but I'll update again and let you know if was effective for repetitive bangs! If you have a nervous dog I can definitely recommend it.

I have the opposite, most of mine look for something to retrieve when they hear a bang! Good luck with the new stuff, hope it works for Poppy.

That's the working dog. I have exactly the same problem. Amy and Chloe hunting up the back lawn!

None of mine are worried about noise; thunder, gunshot, very very low flying aircraft (Airbus test flights and Mirage jets doing low level training). The pups as yet don’t associate gunshot with hunting but they will. We always have gunshots around us but they’re hunting wild boar and deer not game birds.
