Default Just had an Oyster update....now with pic pg 4

I received an e-mail today about my lovely blonde girl, so I thought I'd paste it here for you all to read.

Oyster is coming on very nicely. She is a lovely girl, so well mannered and gentle! Over the last 5 weeks I have carried out obedience with Oyster, she is really willing, and eager to please. I have introduced her to the harness, and she has accepted it with no problems at all. We have started some walks outside of the centre now, this involves introducing the very basics of guide dog work - straightline, kerb work and pavement positioning. She is obviously supported 100% at the moment, but she is showing potential, and seems to be a bright girl. She is a real pleasure to work!

Oyster has been a little quiet in kennels, so I am looking into getting her an office space in the day, just to give her a break from the kennel environment. I will give her a big hug from you! Thank you for all your hard work at puppy walk!

Awwww it's nice to hear she is getting on ok and I'm not that worried about her seeming quiet in kennels as she is such a quiet girl anyway.

You must be so proud of her!

The reason she is doing so well is down to all your hard work. congratulations!!!

I hope that she continues to do well she will be able to give so much to a blind person....

I'm really pleased that she's doing so well. Out of interest how long does their training last?

That choked me up that did, its like being an Auntie (hope you do't mind) feel so proud at having known her, its like when kids grow up and go off to school for the first time isn't it.

What an absloutely smashing piece of news you should be so proud of yourself, its down to your hard work and dedication that she's doing so well....you deservce a big HUG
