Two black spots on Tongue???

Hi there, mac was gagging on something last night, something and nothing but whilst looking in his mouth I noticed on the back of his tongue two black spots, anyone shed any light please???

They are just birth marks and a lot of Labs have them. My Mojo has two big ones right at the back of her tongue and Oyster had a little blueish one, which looked like she had been sucking a pen. Laughing

zaks got two aswell, scared the life out of me when i first saw them but as jules says, they are harmless, welcome to the black spotted tongue gang, Wink

Stan has them too- we used to get asked about them all the time. Even when I said they were normal some people never looked entirely convinced...
We haven't been asked for ages- perhaps Stan has been keeping his tongue to himself as he gets older!

Minnie has one too, it scared me when I first noticed it but googling thankfully revealed it was quite common Smile
