Ive just posted in introductions but thought I would post here too.
We are currently looking to add a black female to our family and need to find a reputable breeder with litters coming up. We are on holiday at the end of June so it wont be before them.
We would like a pet quality labrador but from show lines, our 3yr old male is a field bred labrador and is castrated, we really arent into breeding. Any female that we bring home would also be neutered at the appropriate age.
Obviously a breeder who do all the health checks is a must and erm not really sure what else to put!
I plan on doing dock diving with Alfie..he is a water/retreiving fiend! And I have done gundog work with him.
Anyway best stop rambling and thanks to anyone who can help in my search

Hi Karen,
Welcome to LF and I am sure you will find it most useful.
When looking for a new puppy one of the best places to go is to contact your local labrador club. There are 13 which cover the whole of the UK - I dont know where you are in the country so cant point you to the local one - the Kennel Club Website lists them -
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/109
There is another good article on LF which may be off help -
http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/breederselection.html
If you do post where you live (region / area) I am sure someone there can help too -
Good look -
Jo
PS you may want to edit your title to include a question "Finding a Good breeder" or similar ??
