I hope it's ok to post this. As some know from the recent post I did asking about mugs, I am thinking of getting some mugs done with my designs, and have decided on four more serious designs, but am stuck with the four humorous ones!!!

I am thinking of using two of my current designs, Chocolate Fireguard and Black Magic, which are popular, but am also thinking of using two new images, Draught Horse and Spirited Ride, for the other two designs, which are from a set of five I've done that will help raise money to go towards a charity called Equine Market Watch:

The mugs are bone china, and are all dishwasher etc proof, quite a plain shape, and really suit the sort of style I like. But I'm really stuck!!!! Aaaarrrrrgghhhhh, can't decide which designs to use!!!

Any votes from anyone about which ones you like?? I need to decide pretty soon as I'm booking up craft fairs and farmers markets like I don't know what after the success of the first one.

Thank's Donna, I like the Draught Horse one as well, being partial to a nice beer from time to time Wink Anyone else any thoughts, will they, won't they look good on a mug??

I like both but I think the second design might be not the best shape for a mug - ie it will have to wrap quite far around it and so at a glance from some angles you might just see a horsey middle?
Have you printed it off and just wrapped it around a mug to see maybe?

I have some bryn parry labrador china mugs - they have 2 designs on each, one front ,one back - maybe then you wouldn't have to choose?

I like the draught horse one too.

I also like the other one but thought you wouldn't be able to see the whole image at once on a mug.

Both are very good:)

I love both of these! I think the Draught Horse would work better on a mug, as others have said.

Wonder what it'd look like on a beerstein...seems quite appropriate. Very Happy

Cheers guys Smile I'm not sure how the Spirited Ride design would look either, but I am sure the company doing them would probably be able to give me a mock up, so I might ask for that.

Sarah, I think the Bryn Parry images are designed to wrap round the whole mug, rather than two separate images (not that I've been looking at all manner of mugs recently). I'm having my business name, the title and a small paragraph on the reverse of one set of mugs, and just my business name on the humorous ones, with the charity logo for any that I do with the horse designs as well.

Okey cokey, have been having a play about and a fiddle Shocked and this is another idea I've come up with, incorporating all five designs as a wrap around image - I can use the same idea for the stuff I've already done re chocolate humour and general Lab humour as well.

Thoughts much appreciated Very Happy

I love china mugs so look forward to seeing the Lab designs - can we see which ones you're thinking of using for the dog mugs too?

I have a Bryn Parry mug too that I bought through LRSE&C - it's the Slobrador one and has two images on it.

My china mugs are very sacred, no-one else is allowed to use them - visitors have to make do with the cheapy supermarket mugs Embarassed Laughing

I like them all Confused Laughing , I see no problem with the sprited ride wrapping round a mug, I tend to look all round one if I get one at someone`s house, don`t think I`d be the only one Laughing
