Well, for the first time ever this year, I have been super organised for Christmas. Everything is done except the last food shop. Turkey has been ordered from the local butcher shop, ready for collection the day before Christmas Eve.
Now hubby's love of his life apart from the family is airgun rifle shooting. He belongs to a club in Gloucester and every other weekend he travels all over the uk doing HFT (hunter field target shooting).
To cut the story short they had the funday Christmas shoot last night up the club and frozen turkeys were hung from the ceiling on pieces of string. The aim was to break the string with the little lead pellets that the gun fires.
Yes you guessed it we are now the proud owner of a second turkey for Christmas  and a bottle of wine to wash it down. Lots of trukey for us then

Turkey was frozen solid Mandy, no damage and tucked up safely in the freezer now
