Just wanted to say Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm picking up my new Lab puppy on 20th Dec! His name is Chester and was born on Halloween ( hope that's not a bad omen!!!!). Just wanted any useful advice really as I've never owned a dog before, always had cats!!!

There are a few of us here in Essex, are you North or South?

Once your pup is old enough you can come join us on some fun training days or get togethers, there are lots of things happening in our county for us Labrador owners. Very Happy #

Have a good read through the puppy section, anything and everything you could want to know.

I would also recommend paying the £10 subscription, worth every penny as this site can become very addictive

Don't worry about Chesters birth date, Zak was born on Halloween as well, he's 5 now and although I was certain he was "sent by the devil to try me" cause at times when he was a pup he was a nightmare Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil I had to work that much harder to get it right and it certainly paid off, he's sound as a pound now Very Happy (oh! except on the 31st October every year) Laughing
