Noticed that there are more and more people posting from Cumbria and wondered if anyone would like to meet up for a walk.
I'm living in South Cumbria but very happy to travel further North if anyone has any great ideas about where to go for a walk....we are rather spoilt for choice up here. My one request would be that it wasn't straight up the side of a mountain as I'm rather pregnant and my lungs appear to have shrunk (at least something has shrunk! )
Open to any suggestion for suitable dates, at the moment I can't do the weekend 25th/26th November but that might change depending upon the other half and his work.
We are off to Cumbria camping next year so although I cant make winter I don't mind driving down for some spring summer GT even just driving down for the day would be great I love the lakes.

I live in Lancashire - Preston to be exact. Would be nice to pop up to Cumbria for a short walk. George is almost 6 months old so he's limited to 25/30 min walks (that and I am seriously unfit)- no excuse though)
We go camping up near Keswick so will be great if we can arrange a visit when we are around you. We will be travelling up to Newcastle in December (weekend before Christmas) so if your free on the fri early evening, we can meet up and use it as a break fro George.
Failing that happy for the drive up as it's a beautiful part of the world.
Weekends are good for me although I might be busy on saturdays for the next few weeks as I am (fingers crossed) meeting another LF member on a sat for regular social walks

Count me in! We live in West Lakes but would love to meet up with peeps. Tarn Hows would make a great Winter walk and could be combined with a trip to Chesters Cafe in Skelwith Bridge
I was hoping someone would suggest Tarns Hows! That's one walk I can still manage with relative ease!
Any date suggestions, Christmas not withstanding? I am truly flexible and limited only by the bump deciding to make an appearance which shouldn't be till the New Year.
Emi (wifey), Kaylee and Abbey, and me, are all up for meeting some forum members! The weather is still relatively good. If you need some motivation here are some piccies from Tarn Hows, and local area:
