At the moment we feed all our dogs Wagg dried food, it is excellent value £8.99 for a 17kg sack, which last us about a week with our mob and the ever increasing amount of fosters coming our way...
We haven't had any problems with the food ie upset tummy, but unsure of the nutritional value of it. All dogs seem to love it, and coats always seem to be shinny.
What worries me is that is is so cheap, but ideal for us as like i said we go through a sack a week, if i was paying Burns prices i would be bankrupt, and also its available from petshop, so we don't have to order it every week.
If anyone knows any info on wagg or another cheap alternative please let me know.
We don't want to spend to much otherwise we will have to start charging the Irish retriever rescue for the food and they cant really afford it either.

I must admit I haven't heard of Wagg. But just because its cheap, it doesn't mean its rubbish food either. If the dogs do well on it, why change? A few of us feed Autarky and its about £13 per 15kg. And its quality food.

I have heard of the wagg and saw it.
If your dogs do good on it, nice shiney coats etc then i see no reason to change.
Like sonia said, just because its cheap does not mean its rubbish.
I also buy Autarkys. Not sure how much exactly i pay for it, but its not expensive. But its definitely not rubbish! My dog thives on it, lovely coat and nice solid poos etc.

Autarky is cheap because it's a working dog food, and also VAT free Wink
