Hi,
I own two labrador's one chocolate, and one yellow, 2 totally different breedings. One is show type and the other is working type both KC registered.

I cant seem to find the right food for them, i feed them on dry complete's has tinned meat gave them an upset stomach, I have tryed many brands of food with them and nothing goes to plan.

my chocolate is over weight & my yellow is underweight. They always get supervised feeding so that they dont take each others meals. I have tryed putting frankie (Choc) on a diet and added more to Tegan (yellow) but its no good.

Does anyone have any advice on the food they use on there labs? I heard royal canin Labrador is good!! anyone tryed it??

Hi

A lot of us on here feed our labs Burns or Autarky and are very happy with it. Very Happy

Here is the Burns website

http://www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk/index.htm

It is all holistic and not tested on animals and they do a high oats variety which is good for controlling weight. Very Happy

Sorry haven't got Autarky website but if you google it you should get it. Very Happy

Burns also have a very good nutrtional help line that you can phone with queries. Very Happy

Thanks you both for your reply, I have tryed burns and i cant get my yellow lab to eat it, he totally refuses it.

Beta is a really good food, but i cant get it in my local betstore i have to travel over 8 miles by bus to my nearest pet store - there is always a complication hahaha.

I will look in to that autarky food

Thanks people xx

I would recommend Autarky.
My Lab loves it, and does really well on it. Perfect weight, shiney coat and overall, very healthy!
Goolduck. Hope you find a food that suits your dogs soon xx

I too use Purina Beta and buy it on-line at www.petdepartment.co.uk. They do some good deals on it and deliver to your door by DHL. If your order over £30 at a time, it`s free delivery. They also do many other brands at reasonable prices.
