hi all,
Ive been feeding jack on purina beta since we got him at 8 weeks(now 16 weeks)A couple of weeks ago he was ill and I had to take him to the vets. He was given an injection, antibiotics and some special food.Since then he's not been eating his normal food the same, I have to add some chicken to it or add the puppy sauce to his food. He'll sometimes just eat the chicken and leave the kibbles. Any suggestions on what food I can try him on

Did you use the large breed puppy food?Did you mix the chappie in with every meal. I have bought a pouch of food for him to try. I will do what you suggested and mix it in with his kibbles. Thanks for your help

We did the same for Meg. During the first month we had Meg she got really sick. Crying or Very sad
It turned out that she and one of her other littermates had suspective palvo virus. Thankfully after extensive tests they proved negative but she was really ill. We could only coax her to eat by mixing her regular pedigree complete with some of the wet meat. Eventually we managed to phase out the meat so she was back on a dry diet.
We also had to mix up her food when she was going through the teething stage Laughing

sorry nichola i lost this thread...yewr cassie gets 1/2 tin and cup of beta twice a day...i just cut down the ammount of beta she got so it was her daily amount with meat...im glad your little chap is enjoying his grub better...i found it helped cassie...she had puppy strangles and chokes easily on dry food on its own..so i think this is our way to eat from now on...but you can try taking the wet meat away gradually over time if you prefer

Hi all as a newbie my Cassie choc girl had purina puppy ,though she did go off it I feed barf when I can though she was having bakers complete though I felt she got bored with it and when she's not having fresh meat she is now having pascoes complete as you can mix some water into it and it makes a gravy base
