A friend came across a male black lab on Wednesday at Polesden Lacey and assumed it must have been with someone. He played on her mind and yesterday morning she went back before the grounds opened and found him sat in a field obviously not with anyone at all, poor lad. He is currently at her local vets who think he may be about 14 years olf, no microchip or ID tag

If anyone knows where he belongs please get in touch - Im not sure how long the vets can hold on to him so he may be needing a rescue space if not claimed.

Can anyone help?

Poor boy, I hope he is claimed very soon. The Vet phone code is quite near me , so I will be spreading the word when I am walking the downs today.

I live in Dorking so not far, have passed message to members of my local agility club and friends who live around the area and go to stables in Bookham. Lets hope we find his owners soon.

Poor old boy, I do hope they manage to find his owners for him. He must be feeling so lost shut in at the vets. Do you know if the vet has approaced any rescues about finding a foster home for him, it would be so much better for hime. Let me know if you hear anything.

Oh poor boy, thank goodness your friend trusted her instinct and went back to him - well done to her!

Really, really hope he has a loving owner out there looking for him.

Presume the dog warden has been notified as he is a stray? Will they take him to do his 7 days somewhere if he's not claimed sooner?
