Maple has always been a chewer, shes chewed toys, Ushers zippy bed (through the bars of her crate no less) she destroys black kongs, she makes holes in fleece blankets and also turns vet bed over and makes that about as much uses as a tea strainer. She isnt in pain, she isnt teething, shes not on any meds nor stressed nor underexercised, she just loves nibbling holes in things and Im now at a loss as to what to put in her crate that she wont eat. Plus Im seriously worried about an impaction or blockage.
I have kept her in the crate overnight since she arrived because living in a rented house I was worried about her chewing the kitchen overnight, and she is now 10 months old. However after going through sooo many fleece blankets, a cottony sofa throw that I folded up and put in her crate, and countless pieces of proper vet bed Im now at a loss as to what to actually let her sleep on. Todays effort was actually turning over Alfie's bit of rubber backed vet bed in his basket and chewing that after borrowing his bed for a short nap this afternoon. Literally she was snoring one minute, I went to load the tumble dryer upstairs and came down to a hole in his bed.
She is in the crate whilst Im at work for three hours every morning, has a nylabone ring (well chewed) a sterilised bone (also well chewed) and a black kong with frozen food in it every morning, so its not as if she isnt able to do something for those three hours. However she isnt just chewing her bedding during that time.
Is there ANYTHING I can put in her crate that is not able to be chewed? I really dont know what to do here, never come across this before.

In a word, NO!
I've been there done it, tried it and failed! By the end of it all, Pasco was in a bare crate! I couldn't even put vet bed in!!!!
I've even had to take vet bed out of Zephyrs crate because Pasco will pull it through the bars and chew it!
This is the beds I have in the kitchen for Pasco and Huds
They can't physically chew it! I've swapped out the lining thats on there for vet bed as it was a bit harsh on Pascos skin when he was at his most poorly. Its not a problem for a normal healthy dog! They can not pull or chew the vet bed, its impossible!

I wish there was a tuffies type insert then for crates as I really cant trust her out of her crate at night. She would probably be okay tbh, however its not my house, it belongs to the landlord which makes me much more cautious.

Well.... they do do crate beds pads... but they aren't chew proof. I think Pasco managed to trash one of those in about 45 seconds flat! They aren't the easiest to chew, but an ardent chewer won't have a problem.
They do however repair them! Thats what I did with ours and now its what Zephyr the non chewer sleeps on.
Honestly, I would put nothing in the crate until such time as they stop chewing stuff. Thats what we ended up with Pasco. He's now nearly 3 and won't chew the house so is trusted out of the crate, but if I left him something chewable he'd have it shredded and possibley eaten in a heart beat.

I don't know if this would work but when Sam was in a major chewing phase I put the vetbed inside a quilt cover that is the cover that goes on a quilt not the quilt itself! I found this stopped him chewing it. You have to make sure the button/popper section is well tucked in/under though so they can't get to it.
Good luck.
