Hallo...
We're in the process of swapping Sadie over to Burns Adult Chicken and Rice and she's more or less on the Adult now (we still mix in some MiniBites).. however in the mornings, she always leaves some.. but doesnt at tea-time, plate is licked clean...
So, every morning before we leave, she gets a dentastix and a couple other treats...
Do you think she is off her food or just a clever lass and knows that she's getting her treats and leaves some of her brekkie??!?!

I`d go for the latter option Mands!!, dogs have more brains than we credit them with , the quicker you wolf brekkie down the quicker you get a treat, would work for me, specially if my owner will still give me a treat even though I don`t eat all the brekkie!!
try reducing the amount you give for brekkie and see what happens, if Sadie sytill leaves some and looks for treats, I`d say thats what she`s doing
do you still give her a middle feed? you mentione mini bites thats why i asked not sure how old she Think she may not need it now if you are - if you arent then what a waste of words this post is hehehe
I am waiting fro ruby to wean herself of her middle feed but NOPE she is still inhaling everything that comes her way
