I`d say he`s trying it on Karen!, "If I tell mummy I don`t like this she`ll get me something else!!", it working it seems, your doing it Very Happy .

It is about time he changed over to adult food at 8 months, so i`d introduce it over a period of a few days mixed with his old puppy food, once the changeover is done, feed him as normal, if he doesn`t eat it after about 10 mins, pick it up, then give it back for his next meal, he`ll probably try the "I don`t like this" trick again, but you have to be strong and ignore that, he`ll soon get the message that he eats what he`s given or goes without!! Very Happy

hehe.. you don't expect it of labs do you!?!

Dexter went through a similar fussy stage, used to drive me mad!! First got him checked by a vet, to make sure there wasn't anything wrong. I was really soft with him though, and hand feeding him at one point!!!!!!

Got too much, so i was absolutely BRUTAL with him Sad gave him small portions twice a day, if he didn't eat after 15 mins i took it away, and all his treats were pieces of his food.. nothing else... and it worked a treat Smile Hope scooby's just going through something similar!!
