There are champions in the from the next lie upward from lines "Gunstock", "Oakhouse", "Drakeshead".
If anyone has any further info on these kennels I would be most interested. Also the champions have certain letters before the "CH" such as "NOR" or "FT" but there is no legend on the pedigree so if anyone is able to give info on this also I would be most appreciative.

It was Margaret Litherlands Husband that originally had working gundogs, and Margaret told me once that by playing 'The good wife' and becoming interested in her husbands 'little hobby' was her introduction to Labradors....hmm where have I heard that before Margaret has been breeding since 1967 and at one point every dog in her kennel had gained a CC,(apart from the youngsters) there a very few breeders can claim to ever have managed that...
I admit to being a little biased towards Margarets breeding
Two of my girls are related, albeit a little further back
One of my previous boys, was also related to Withymead Jasmine who was sired by Oakhouse Off The Hook, who in turn is Also Tia's GGG/Sire
Thanks for the info John. I had been wondering what those abbreviations were since we got Osca.
Also thanks kayc. Nice to know there are owners on here that have relatives of Osca's. I have checked his pedigree and Oakhouse off the Hook is Osca's GGGS also.

Hi!!
I have your dogs half brother. His pedigree name is Garmon Llwyd, but he's Lennon to us!! He was born on 22nd October last year, and is one this month. We also live in Wrexham, although he originally came from Corwen. He is also yellow and has the same look about him!!!
Is that the Gaynor Bailey who writes for the Shooting GAzette?( I only get it for the dog section)- if it is -I like her articles- almost always some humour in there to brighten my day.

As i responded to Osca's pedigree by saying that Lennon has the same father, is anyone related to his mother's side of the pedigree? His mother is Hiraethog Honeysuckle and i would love to know if she has also had any further litters? In the last month on my search for a second labrador, i have found quite a few of his relatives scattered around the country, but on his mothers side. So to hear about his father's side is new!! On the story of Gaynor Bailey, she is a lovely woman that i have had the pleasure to speak to on the phone in my second labrador search and who was very helpful! Didn't realise what an influential person i was speaking to until afterwards!
