Hi

I was hoping for some advice......

I am currently looking at changing my boys food, he is 18 mths old, he is presently on pedigree, and I was looking at either changing him to Burns or James Well Beloved... but not sure which one.

He does appear to have a slight skin allergy, which at the moment has not been tested as it does seem to be getting better.

And he does seem to have a problem on this food... smelly wind. Embarassed Embarassed Laughing

So hoping changing his food might sort this problem out too.

I would appreciate your comments if you are or have been feeding either of these foods.

Thanks

I had to change Rolo from Burns as it did not agree with him after trying several flavours. But others do well on it lots of people on the forum use Burns with great success.I have used james wellbeloved before and i found it good but i believe they are one of the dog foods that the company test on animals.

Personally, i think burns is over-priced.
I feed Autarky, much cheaper but just pritty much the same. No additives etc, and not tested on animals.

Hi there,
Well we used to feed JWB until it was pointed out that they animal test Sad I was worried about changing Ruby's food as she was well on JWB but I couldn't continue using it knowing what I did.) So, we now feed Burns, we introduced it over a week whilst phasing out JWB and Ruby was fine, we've had no problems. Smile

Luca was on Pedigree and I changed him over to Burns. He does very well on it. I thought it was more expensive but he actually has half the portion compared to Pedigree so the bag lasts twice as long and it therefore actually works out cheaper.

The deliver really quickly as well if you order from their website.

My dogs do very well on Burns, and in my opinion it works out very economical compared to others because of the smaller portions Laughing
