I bought her her first 15kg bag of Salmon and Rice this afternoon from the local pet food shop!(one of the reasons to change, can buy off the shelf rather than order in)

The sample from Skinners she had 50/50 with the old for about 5 meals - no runny bum! So bought a 2.5kg bag, she had 50/50 for 5 days then 75/25 for 5 days then 100% all has gone well hence the BIG bag!!

She's eating the same amount per meal as she was the Proplan Salmon, at the moment, and for 20 quid less, I'm happy!

Thanks to everyone who helped us get to this point!

I switched Zadie to the duck & rice earlier this year as I knew Huxley would be coming home on the puppy food and the aim was to get them onto the same. It took almost a whole 15kg bag for the flatulence to go (she'd been on burns before with no wind!!) - but all is fine & dandy now.

Hope Luna settles onto it - £20 per bag is worth saving!

Welcome to the gang! Stanley has been enjoying his Skinners for a couple of years now. I'm saving a lot of money, with no compromise on quality. He tends to have the Field and Trial Maintenance.

Poppy has the salmon and rice, mixed with the museli mix. She has done brilliantly on it, and her coat is totally different to how it was 3 months ago.

Touch wood, no increased or even a lot of flatulence here Susan! (Except when she gets the occasional big rawhide chew for a treat!)

We had such trouble with Luna's food and corresponding poops until I figured out she seemed to be intolerant of anything with chicken/poultry in it that when the Proplan Salmon agreed with her I have been reluctant to change!

The money saved will come in very handy now we've suddenly become a one owner household living on a part-time wage Rolling Eyes

Good to hear Luna is doing well on the new food, she looks as though she`s wondering why that 15kg bag isn`t actually in her bowl in the pic Laughing
