Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good agility club in the Cambridge area? I've done a little bit of Have-a-go agility with Bamber and he loves it so would like to give it a proper go!
I'm looking for somewhere that is friendly and welcoming for beginners, but ideally has a few opportunities to get involved with competitions, etc if we got keen.
where about in Cambridgeshire do you live? I was looking a year ago! and found some good places in my area! But Winston hips (not too badm but he gets stiff if he doesnt anything more than his normal walks) stop us from doing further Agility!!
I have the information still at home so ill look for you tonight!
Winston really use to love Agility - Wasnt too keen on waiting for his turn thuogh!
Im waiting to hear from the place i use to go.... as i think they dont just do agility anymore! i think its called Club class and its a bit of everything!
Have you found yourself an agility club? can you be more specific on northwest as I'm confused!!!
I have trained with Godmanchester dog training club, Manor farm, houghton/wyton, k9 Sports, Witchford. Then there is Redgates over near haverhill ish!! oh and T & A agility at littleport leisure centre. I currently train with letchworth at shuttleworth. All are good clubs and I've only moved round because i was looking for social groups in agility once i got the basic training in.
If you are prepared to travel a bit further then Wendy Clay; Racingredd agility over in sutton st james is fantastic. top trainer, works with you. She has an agility champion and has competed at crufts, olympia and in the European competitions representing Great britain.
