All LF members (inc doggies and family, inc little people) are invited to a tent camping GT on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th August 2010 Sorry, no caravans are allowed.

Those will be the main days. If you want to arrive earlier and/or leave later, that will be OK. Very Happy
There are also many Hotels, B&Bs, caravan sites, etc close by.

Scarborough Tourism

Open aspect with sea and country views, 4.5 miles from Scarborough, 18 from Whitby, close to the North York Moors, there is a dog friendly public footpath that runs through the farm.

There will be a field available for exercise. There are a few sheep, ducks and hens around and dogs are expected to be 'under control'.

There will be toilets available, one male loo and one female loo. Razz

I would like to know is how many will be attending but here is no 'cut-off' date, just turn up if you won't know till the last minute. Very Happy
All those who confirm attendance will be PM'd directions.

Cost
The only cost will be to help cover the hire of the toilets. The more that attend the lower the individual cost. Razz Going off the poll, I expect it to be around £8 per tent for the weekend.

Ideas for activities
There is room for agility, training display, camp fire, BBQ, whatever.

If anyone cares to 'volunteer' to organise any activity, that will be very welcome.

Disclaimer

If you have any questions please use this thread or PM me.

Very Happy Cool

Can you put Mole and I down please, not Meg though, she doesn't do long journeys and she's certainly too comfortable on a sofa to consider sleeping in a tent Rolling Eyes Laughing

Definately for the Friday and Saturday night and maybe even the Sunday x

We'll be there, although possibly not camping as we only live 40 odd miles away. We'll attend one of the days, most probably the Sunday but will be able to confirm nearer the time Very Happy

I'm not sure of the logistics of this as the OH and I have never camped in our puffs, but I would love to come! So provisionally, without consulting him, I'll say yes!

Logistics be damned Smile
