How to apend your lab photo album url to your signature

Hi just a short guide as i have seen this done on other forums, and this allows people to quickly and easily access photos of your labradors Smile

firstly add some photos of your labrador to the gallery, you will have to create an album to do this, see the other post in the help forums about how to do this.

Once you have an sub folder album in whichever category is relevant i.e. in my case Black labradors then do the following.

go to your album and make a note (Copy CTRL-C) the url for it from the address bar in your browser.

then go to edit your profile i.e. http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/forum-editprofile.html

once there scroll down to the Signature section.

add the following text in the signature box:-

[url=http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/gallery-album_BradleyP uppy.html]See Bradleys Photo Gallery here[/url]

exchange the url i have for the url you made a note of in the previous step i.e. the url of your gallery album and amend the message to say whatever you want i.e. See my Lab photos here etc ensure you keep the remaining message the same ie.

[url=your lab gallery url here]your message here[/url]

then scroll down to the bottom and click the submit button

thats it you should now have a link like the one i have on this post Smile

The ALbum is called Natalie Pomroy for some reason (well it's my name! so could be the reason) anyway, its kinda on view for all to see, don't know if that's right....help please!!

I have now fixed this for you. There was two problems. You need to have some text between the [url] and [/url] tags that will actually be displayed. I just used 'Jacks Pictures'. Also the address you used was incorrect so I updated this also.

Not your fault at all, it's not always as straight forward as it seems... you got a lot further than some people have got before. Wink
