Open and Championship Shows

Hello

I have been thinking recently of considering entering Championship Shows but have been undecided due to the fact that the dogs that I handle and show for someone else at present are not getting very good results anything from 3rd - 4th placings at open show level. Is it worth my while considering entering championship shows. Do the judges at this sort of show look for something different in a dog or what.

Your comments please.

The dogs I show are aged between 18months and 3 years.

Im only a novice in the show world as i've only entered one Open Show but did get 2 3rd places, im not going to enter Championship Show due to the fact that Kimmy is not very experienced but also due to the fact that the level of people entering this shows seem to be a lot more experienced than me and there seems to be a lot more dogs entered in for these shows.

I cant see why you cant enter Championship Shows the results you've have won are still brilliant and you did get placed. If you want to go for it and there nothing stopping you, then go for it.
