If you get a problem whereby you can login to the site ok, but in your account page it says actual user status offline, and you cannot access some of the modules with error messages indicating you arent a registered user, it may be a simple problem with your time/date on your pc as this affects the cookie.
So please ensure the date and time are set correctly on your pc.
Another reason can be the security settings within your Browser, if you use Internet Explorer then go to the Tools Menu then Internet Options. Click on the Security Tab at the top and move the slider down to Low temporarily to see if this cures it.
