Working towards getting my pup in June, I'm going through the insurance quotes now so I'm not in a mad rush come the time.

Helpucover (formerly pinnacle) have come up with a good quote, but I'm interested to hear people's exepreicnes and opinions of the company, good and bad?

Thanks,
David

i would avoid them.

i had a simple poisoning (pup ate contraceptive pills) Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed she needed a drug to induce vomitting and the relatively young/inexperienced vet wanted to check with the poisons laboratory that no ill effects from this. pinnacle call this phone call an admin charge and would not pay it. upshot was, bill 121.21, excess £80, they paid 1.21 and i paid admin fee. not v happy but they will not budge.
pm me if you need more info but would not recommend.

jan and ruby xx

Thanks Jan for your experience and thoughts... not great, but I guess most of these companies will weasel out of paying if they can.

Anyone else had experience of any large or ongoing claims with them? It's really the ongoing claims over years that worry me the most.

I've heard good things about PetPlan but that is reflected in their price.

Cheers, David
