Margaret-Anne, there is a Lab rescue in Scotland represented on here, hopefully they will see this, but I will look for some details too.

Do you think the current owners will pass the dog on? Do you know how old the puppy is? Are you able to take the puppy and then look for a rescue space, just to ensure the puppy is safe?

My Scottish geography isn't very good but I would try Labrador Retriever Rescue Caithness & Scotland:

http://www.lrrcs.org/

They are represented on here by Jodysmum but I'm not sure if she's around at the moment.

From the listing on the rescue database on here:

Email: murrayruth2@aol.com

Contact Us: Carolyne Poulton 07845010031

Miss Vanda Salmon 01337 858 363

Miss Heidi Kubon 079759 70862

Fostering Co-ordinator: Jodysmum (Ruth) 07706032699

Even if they can't help, they might know of another rescue that can? flower

I would have thought this should be reported to the SPCA to begin with as it seems as though there`s ill treatment involved, the present owners may not be prepared to give the dog up that easily Confused

Hey MargaretAnne - the SSPCA is fab and have several rehoming centres near you. You can look up their website for details and just phone them with the information about the puppy.

Here is a link: http://www.scottishspca.org/ and they also have a hotline number on theor website you can call.

Good luck!

Thanks Amgela and Mo and everyone who replied to this.
Margaret Anne we would help in any way we could, but really if the pup is being ill treated the 1st port of call should really be the SSPCA http://www.scottishspca.org/ as the could get the pup out quickly, probably a lot quicker than we could.

But if the person was willing to let the pup go voluntarily then please feel free to contact Carolyne Poulton 07845010031 or Miss Vanda Salmon 01337 858 363 or we can be contacted as Angela has posted at

Labrador Retriever Rescue Caithness & Scotland:
our web site is http://www.lrrcs.org/

Feel free to email me or call me if you want to have a chat about this poor pup.Email: murrayruth2@aol.com or call me on
