With 5 dogs milling around it's difficult to stop them trying to get at the dishes in the dishwasher when we open the door to put more dirty dishes in. I was turned around to the sink and there was a hell of a crash - dopey labrador had got her dog tag caught in the wire and was dragging the bottom tray around the floor
She hasn't been near the dishwasher since

Mine are always helping to load the dishwasher too, they don't wear collars though so luckily this doesn't happen.
I bet she got quite a fright , bless

She soon recovered
The dishes survived but the wheels broke off the tray

I am always having to extract Charlie's nose from the dishwasher and propel him out of the room when I am loading up. He just absolutely loves a dirty dishwasher. Not interested when it has finished its cycle and is clean - wonder why!?

Lulu is a right pain for trying to "help" with the dishwasher!! even when it's clean! i now have to remove the tray completely when its clean dishes and put it on the work top to put things away if i don't want dog slobber on everything!!!!!!

And no they are not interested once the dishwasher has done its duty....

Well, I have christened my dishwasher "Jaws".
The reason - I am convinced the rest of the family are afraid it might bite them, as they will leave their dishes in the sink or on the worktop instead of in the machine.
That means that I am frequently the only one who ends up loading or unloading it, until sometimes I have had enough. Then I let rip and they have to come back to finish clearing up.
Helen.
