Lillie's 18 weeks today and full of beans! The last week we've seen a dramatic increase in her energy and we never got a moment's peace any more - she just doesn't settle in the evenings now, even after a 20 minute walk she's up and about and running around. She's also teething and has discovered that shoes are fun to steal (I've lost one pair of flip flops to her chewing already!), and has discovered the joys of proper bumtucking (she just bumtucked round and round her bed for 5 minutes!)

Oh shes lovely and she looks so `happy...isnt that one of the best things about labs? the way they smile? I lost one of my flip flops to Sun not so long back ...she was busy making confetti flip flops by my bed and i was taking a siesta and didnt even notice! she is very creative like that... Wink

ha! yeah I know..i got up and was like...whats all that green stuff? hang on you´ve been way too quiet mate! She didnt even eat any...just sprinkled it all over the bedroom...lovely! Laughing

Lol @ Sun. Lillie very kindly left the soles of my flip flops completely intact and just chewed off the "arms", I'm sure she thought she was helping me!

Ouch @ Harvey's (well, I'm assuming it was Harvey and not Poppy) walking boot fetish.

Thanks Charlotte, OH and I think Lillie's growing up nicely too! It's only seeing photos of her though that we realise just how much she's growing and maturing though.

Waikie - TBH I'm not sure which one it was so I couldn't get mad at either of them. Poppy has been known to "nurse" shoes in the past. I was sure I'd put them away (and guess what, it was the pair of orthotics that I didn't have insured Mad

I'm sure she thought she was helping you - why on earth would you need arms on flipflops????? Wink

Max is also the same age as lilly he was born on 12th April, he is doing all the same things , he uses up all his energy in his 20 minute walk, but still keeps some back for his mad ½ hour usually about 9-10.00 o clock , just when you want him to settle down . He also likes shoes , we have had to hide all our best shoes, he also takes a fancy to muddy , smelly football boots, YUK !!
But he is learning new tricks each day , and will start to take notice of the NO command which we have to use quite a lot.He too is teething , but I just noticed some lovely new teeth coming through so maybe my arm can take a rest !!!
Lovely to hear of someone the same age , doing the same things!!!

oh what lovely pics, lillie is soooooooo lovely, i love her half shut smiley eyes, isnt it just pure joy watching them running around enjoying themselves, zak is just coming up to 2yrs old and i am presuming full grown now, but he still bumtucks round when he gets the chance, comical to watch especially if he is in the living room where there is no room for a lab his size to bum tuck Laughing
