Hi everyone! I am looking to give a loving home to a golden lab pup! Can anyone help with recommending a reputable breeder, hip and eye score very important... Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I live in North London... Many thanks in adance

Mrs Heather Wiles-Fone, keeps the list of any breeder with puppies available for The Labrador Club, no breeder is allowed to put their puppies on the register without, the parents being hip and eye tested. Her telephone and fax is 01296 641996. Hope this helps and good luck Regards Meg

I'd like to second megaloos advice. a breed club is by far the best way to identify a reputable breeder. sources from the internet could be anyone and offers you no screening from less suitable breeders.

PS, If you are looking for a pet have you considered rescuing a lab? there are a lot of perfectly good dogs of all ages with breed rescues awaiting loving homes.
