The Lab of the Month award for November has been awarded to a special lab called Jack! Congratulations to Jack, and his owner Natalie, your award & prize are on their way to you!
Here, Natalie, tells us why Jack is so very special to her & her family.
Natalie writes:
"I''d like to nominate Jack my beautiful Black Lab.
I am so proud of him, he has helped me make so many friends over these last 3 years and brings joy and laughter to everyone he meets. he has helped several people overcome their fear of dogs and one person has even gone and bought a Lab of her own!
This year I put Jack forward to become a P.A.T dog, after seeing a write up about the amazing work these volunteers do.
I am proud to say he passed all the behaviour tests with flying colours as I knew he would and as part of this process we had to submit character references, one of the referees wrote a nice bit about Jack she wrote ''Natalie''s dog Jack is incredibly well trained and has a calm and friendly disposition, he is equally well behaved with children, adults and the elderly. In short he is and ideal dog for this kind of role'', The thing is the reference was for me, but she was that impressed with him she had to write, what''s more she was one of the people who were terrified of dogs!
What more can I say about my beautiful boy, other than we all love him to bits and would not be without him"
Oh Wow, just got back from a business trip and found the message from Julie, thanks so much on behalf of Jack, I am so pround of my Boy, I have told him not to let it go to his head and to have humility....some hopes

I am one helluva lucky Lab to have a mum like mine, and I want to just say fenk you to all my Labbie chums for the award, Mum says I will be gettin a luverly prize and that I really deserved this as I did so well on my visit to the granmas and fings so, fenks.
