This lab needs a home! It says he is in need of a home urgently!

I have heard that they do still put dogs to sleep here!

I have nothing to do with this pound but saw the web page and thought that someone on here maybe able to help!

If anyone has any ideas or thinks they can help pleeeease get in touch with the pound.... (i don't even know if he is still there or not but thought it doesnt cost anything to post on here and if it helps him then its worth it!)

I'd phone about him myself but I already have 3 doggies and no more space!

There are two dogs that seemed to have been picked up together - Oliver and Hardy.

You could check with the pound if they will hand dogs onto rescue after they've done their pound time and see if it's ok for you to try a few rescues, either locally or further afield, to see if anyone can take them? Or maybe someone on here will see this and know of a place that could offer take them.

Lots of pounds do sadly still have to pts (around 8,000 dogs were pts in the UK in 2007 due to a lack of good homes) but many such as this one do make efforts to rehome them Smile

They look lovely, I hope some help can be found for them.

There's also Jes, a black lab, surrendered by his owner - how do you leave your dog there, knowing the pound may have to pts if they can't rehome him Crying or Very sad

Crying or Very sad for all the dogs there waiting for their owners to find them or someone kind to give them a second chance.
