It may have been on there for ages, and you may all have seen it, but I have only just noticed in the "News and thanks" page that Shimmer and her forever mum Debbie Saunders ran the Torbay marathon or half marathon and raised a whole lot of money. What a wonderful story.

Shimmer had been dreadfully mutilated before being rescued by MTR. She deserves the wonderful life she has now.

Yes, I look at the happy endings page, but this one wasn't on it. It was on the news and thanks page (for the sponsorship from the running). That's why I never saw it!
