George a month or so on.. FAO Diana

Hi there,

I posted a pic about a month or two ago of george (attempting!) a stand. I was over the moon that some people said some really nice things about him. I think it was diana (but forgive me if it wasn't!) who said it would be intersting to see him in a month or so and standing properly. (His head was tilted back in the last pic as he was eating a treat i was holding)

So here's a pic i took in the garden today. He's still filling out again since he was a bit ill with an upset tum and off his food last week so looks a little lighter than he did two weeks ago unfortunately, but i'm sure he'll put a bit of weight back on over the next week or so.

Really nervous now about what people will say! Confused

But thank everyone to all comments positive and not so...

He was four months old yesterday, rachael.

Yes, we really must meet up again soon sheena.

I'm soo proud of him with his stand these last few days. It was like the penny dropped on thursday night. "Oh i see, you don't want me to sit down!?" He'll now stand for ten sec or so before he thinks about sitting... which doesn't sound a lot but is a big improvement. But if you then flick your wrist of your bait hand he stands. His bum tends not to hit the deck, you can just see the thought cross his mind. Rome wasn't conquered in a day so i'm sure we'll get there!!
