long term foster home needed......can anyone help?

I am in a quandary and wondered if any of you may be able to help.? I have a Labrador and due to the break up of our family, and a new Job abroad, My dog is looking for a foster mum or dad (or both!). I have a temporary job contract for 12 months and am in need of someone to look after my dog for that period of time. I am willing to try anything if it means I can keep Angus my 3 yr old, black boy. He means everything to me and I did try and find a new home for him but to no avail. If I could find someone to look after him until I come home that would be great. I would of course be willing to make a formal agreement if necessary. Angus is a cheeky, lovable soul, and (as with all Labs) has "those" eyes! He is a needy boy loves cuddles, walks and socks! He Loves other dogs and doesnt mind the odd cat. If anyone knows of anwhere or anyone that can help please let me know. Many thanks in advance.

Long term foster homes are very rare, particularly for the length of time your are talking about as people form attachments and situations change.
