Mackerel & Sardines

Would it be ok to give Saska a small tin of Mackeral or Sardines with her Burns everynight, or would it be too much fish, not sure what to do any help would be appreciated.

Every night might be a bit much- mine have them twice a week.

I think every night might be a bit much, why not give a raw egg as an alternative?

I give mine them every 3 days and just reduce the meal they go in with a little bit. Very Happy

Thanks I never thought about a raw egg, how many of these should
she have a week. Would she have the shell as well or just the egg.

I was giving her the fish twice a week so I think I will revert back to just twice.

Ours get whole free range eggs, I just crack the shell and drop the whole lot in. Probably two or three times a week is enough for eggs. Another alternative is a dollop of low fat cottage cheese, or just a few tasty left overs.

We started to give our 9 month old lab Max sardines as a treat but be aware as the crafty sod started turning his nose up at his food unless they were added. Smile
