Just about to make some of this liver cake (why I'm asking myself, now looking at this yukky liver!), and apart from the fact I've just noticed the stuff I've bought has already been frozen (doh), once made can you normally freeze this?

I freeze liver cake, and as long as you use fresh liver to make it it seem to be ok to freeze, Bess eats it with no ill effects.. it still smells

Just curious, why does everyone make liver cake? There is no way I could face liquidised liver
I just cook the liver and chop it into tiny pieces and freeze, in fact, if you boil the liver for long enough it goes quite hard and crunchy and not too bad to handle , but you will need to chop it first ...........that I can handle, but liquidised ............ewwwww

Dogs love it thats why and its better considering the amount some people do to make it all up in one batch and freeze and take out what they need when they need it

Once the liver has been cooked its ok to freeze it again, dogs have much stronger digestive systems than we do.
It needs to be frozen because it can`t be used up in a hurry, specially if its for treats on walks etc and will go off very quickly
