....but clearly not tough enough for Alfie
Saw him chewing it and playing with it - looked back two minutes later and it is in bits on the floor. Little monkey - anyone know of any super-chewer-lab-proof toys?
Henry has done the same there is none left of it now. He took a big chunk of it within 10 mins of having it. Plastic toys are a big no no with him as they last all of two seconds and he has them destroyed. I had to go to PAH again today to get more toys as he has none left and spent another £45. The only toy that has lasted is the kong wubba. If these toys don't last I don't know what else to give him.
I've got two toys that have lasted... one is a 'Good Boy' rubber tug toy (it has lasted 6 months in amongst 8-10 other dogs on a daily basis) the other I bought on a stall in our local market 4 weeks ago. I'll get the name the next time I'm there.
These are the only toys the Fogmister has yet to destroy!!! All others are annihilated within minutes... soft toys seconds!!!
The black Kong seems to be lasting well with Max, but I bought him the fleecy version of the Kong Wubba and he had it in bits within a few minutes. He still has the legs to play tug with though and the pink ball from inside!
Indy destroys most things within minutes of getting them, the best thing we have found so far is a rubber fish bone which came home with him from the kennels, no idea where it came from though, he had craftily hidden it in his blanket / basket to bring home, the little monkey.
Boomer balls are good - get one a little too big for his mouth so he has to chase it around.
Roo's kong wubba has lasted him since xmas and is his favourite toy (thanks secret Santa!).
Nylabones are fairly strong too and are designed to be chewed.
Other than that I would just use household items like plant pots, milk bottles and plastic containers. When people come over it looks awful when Roo runs and shows them his half chewed milk carton as his prized possession - I assure them he has proper toys too!
Oh - and Roo loves an old hand towel with a knot tied in it.
