I have mine with Tesco. I chose the 'extra' option for more benefits.
I do not know if it is good as I am new to the 'world of dogs'. But perhaps something for you to look into.
One thing I am happy about that it reimburses for 'complementary therapies' as well.
Oh! I pay £9.50 per month, so it does not break the bank and the excess is £60.
I will be following this thread as I am sure that some members will have good advice on that matter.
I cannot change now as Poppy has an ongoing condition, but will be good to know what is on offer for the future.

Good luck. Very Happy

Jemimas M&S insurance is £296
Mocha is with tesco £130
Obviously Tesco cover is not life cover.
Now I am shopping around for Izzy - M&S told me all I get is a 5% discount for a second dog.

£300 is a lot of money but then the cover is good should you (touch wood we dont) need it.

I've had Digger's renewal in for More Than and it was around the £130 mark. Last year it was about £112.

Hope this helps.

Well yes, since joining Tesco insurance, I found out that it is not life cover.
I am sorry to sound silly, but what does it mean?
(I have to read the insurance policy as I cannot remember any of it)

I have three of mine with More than - and it costs me just over £30 a month for the three Very Happy (they do a 5% discount for subsequent dogs)

Also, Direct line do a multiple dog policy - which seemed quite competitive

diirct line has this
Essential Policy £4000 per condition - 12 month limit
Advanced Policy £6000 per condition
i take it the later is better?
more than says this
Up to £7,000 vets fees cover for each and every new accident and illness. What’s more, your pet is covered for as long as they need the treatment, as long as they remain insured with MORE TH>N – many policies limit cover to just the first 12 months of treatment
im getting confused now

More than sounds the better deal, does sound like thy cover the dog for life for the same condition as long as you stick with them (of course Very Happy ). Would be worth giving them a call to make sure.

I think M&S may have shot themselves in the foot, they got loads of customers due to their zero excess policy and now premiums have rocketed.
