Basil goes as wild for this as liver cake - but it's easier on the human nose Laughing

Ingedients:
2 small tins of tuna (in sunflower oil, do not drain)
100g wholemeal flour (although any type works)
1 egg
2 cloves of garlic

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Spread evenly onto a baking tray (preferably one lined with greaseproof paper for ease)
Score with a knife pre cooking (as it's quite crunchy to cut afterwards)

Cook for 30 - 40 minutes at 180c

Cooked treats can be frozen and de-frosted

Ooh I have the stuff in the cupboard to make this.................can't stand fish but if i can pick up dog poo i'm sure i can cope with opening a couple of cans. Does it make the house stink of fish though, got a mate round for a cuppa in a bit!

I make tuna cake, though the quantities are slightly different. It does make the house smell a bit of tuna and garlic but I like the smell and I'm sure it's nowhere near as bad as liver cake.

The dogs love it Smile

Ooo Might have a go of this later as all the ingredients are in the cupboard and Una has a class tomorrow. I'll end up with all the dogs after me.... Laughing

Well Max LOVES it! Probably not quite as it should be as I only had 1 tin of tuna in oil so just added a bit of olive oil to it and it's come out crunchy on top with a squishy middle. But that's special training treats sorted for tomorrow night! Thanks for sharing! Laughing

The one I make is only one tin of tuna to 1 egg and 80g plain flour, plus garlic, so sounds similar to what you have made.

The dogs go mad for it and I put some on the bird table with the bird seed and the Robin in the garden always takes the tuna cake bits first Very Happy
