I have found this website page that lists all common UK plants and the toxicity of them.

Its very useful especially for new dog owners when designing their gardens etc.

There are a number of us puppy owners out there and hopefully as Spring returns we will be out there pottering around and enjoying it again (roll on spring).

The list above is VERY useful if you are planning to add to your garden.

Thanks for that Nat.
Dudley uprooted a geranium out of a pot earlier, but luckily the worst that could happen is 'mild dermatitis'

i love my gardening (not that you can tell at the moment, what with poppy and the giant mole hills) and i seem to have fair few of those plants some of which she digs up on a regular basis so i'll be keeping a close eye on her from now on!

Just to let everyone know... one plant not included but one that is poisonous - the Yucca plant. My pup has been stripping ours and was sick. Called the vet who called the poisons hotline... it can cause vomitting, diarrhea and can even lead to permanent liver damage (especially if the dog is still young).

(we've had clear blood tests so far but have to take him back next week to confirm that his liver is ok). Would hate anyone to think it's a safe plant for the simple fact of it not being on the list above so be warned....

Yucca's are poisonous.
