Hi there
I'm new here, but hope you don't mind me posting a quick query already! We have a beautiful 8 month old pup, and he is getting on great. However, today was our first experience of icy conditions, so all of a sudden I have a new worry!
We have ~ 5 steps up to our house, and they get very icy on days like today. This is obviously a danger to ourselves and the dog when we are taking him up and down during the day.
Do any of you know of anything safe that we can put down on the steps to melt the ice and give some grip? I would hate to buy something that is toxic or irritates his paws.
Thanks!!!

If it were me I'd just use a bit of sand. I'm sure the amount needed to give a bit of grip wouldn't be harmful to their paws?
'BUMP' for any more advice/suggestions.
