My 1 year old lab is very destructive lol any toy i give him he destroys withing minutes! chews it to bits.

i bought him a kong and its great!! he has had it ages and still hasnt chewed through it.

The only thing is that i think hes getting bored with just playing with a kong.

is there anything else out there like a kong that he wont destroy

(i like to spoil my dogs lol)

Rosie is quite a good chewer -some toys survive, some don't. I think having smooth surfaced things that she can't get her teeth caught in last longer - she's had a couple of very tough rubber toys from supermarkets which are still going strong, I'm afraid I don't know who they're made by. You could also try nylabones, stuffed bones, and big 'scraggers' I think they're called i.e. the big knotted rope toys. They don't last forever but should go a good while.

Coal has a 'good boy' wobble dinosaur from tesco thats lasted ages. its like a rubber latex stuff. he can't seem to get his teeth through it as it just squidges under his teeth.

The kongs also come in bone shapes, ball etc.

Oh and he has a large air kong football (rugby ball shape) that has survived several months!

Apart from Shadow's kong, which regularly gets stuffed with all sorts of smelly stuff that he seems to like, he loves the free toys, the ones that really should go in the re-cycle bag but get chewed anyway, milk cartons and fruit shoot bottles are the current have to play with. The fruit shoot bottles are great at the beach in the waves too!
