It seems Midus has gained 1.5 kg in 8 days .

The vet said he is a very lean fit pup so I know he isnt fat ,infact you can see his ribs .
I am hoewever concerned about him gaining weight too fast and putting stress on his joints ?
But if he is already lean what can I do ?

We were at the vets today and Phoebe has put on 2kg in 2 weeks (now 9.2kg at 10 weeks) - what the vet checks for is that the weight is going on as bone, muscle and fat in appropriate proportions. My vet offers a monthly (free!) puppy check to monitor this rapid growth period. Phoebe is a big girl but the weight gain is all in the right places - it sounds as though your vet is perfectly happy with your pup so relax a little and enjoy his puppy days - he'll be grown up before you know it!

Edited cos I got my little girls age wrong - how could I have done that?
